| A "Walkabout" in frame. The builder
is Wayne Jorgensen who lives in Queensland a little north
of Brisbane . This is his second JW boat, the first being
a Seagull which gave him the bug both boatbuilding and rowing.
His Walkabout is intended both as a family boat to be used
on the nearby river and as a cruiser to explore some of the
waterways in the coastal and riverine National Parks in Northern
Queensland.

Here is a shot of the afterdeck showing the
mizzen mast step ( the alloy tube) the tiller mount and the
yoke that carries the steering lines back to the rudder stock.
You can see the tiller line tunnel down the centerline, the
cave lockers each side of that and the boomkin that carries
the mizzen sheet out aft of the transom.
